Certified Massage Therapist
Certified Transpersonal Hypnotherapist
I am proud to say I was born
and raised in small town Amo, Indiana on my grandparents farm. I attended Cascade High School and then in 2002 I received
my Bachelor's degree in Psychology and to keep it interesting I also majored in business. So, how on earth did I end up with
a business in Clayton of all places? Trust me...I've been asked that many times. First, I grew up out here, so this is home.
My dad lived in Clayton for almost thirty years, and served on the Town Council for much of that time. He passed in September
2005, so it just seemed natural to put my business in his town. The grand opening was December 9, 2006.
attended Midwest Academy of Healing Arts in Brownsburg receiving 500 hours training. I graduated in May 2007 and am certified
through the State of Indiana as a Certified Massage Therapist. I then went on to receive a certification
as a Reiki Master in November 2007. And then I received the advanced certification of Certified Massage
Cupping Therapist through ACE Massage Cupping & MediCupping in 2008.
I have had the desire to be a hypnotherapist as long as I can remember, but especially after getting my degree in Psychology.
So, it is with a great sense of fulfillment I have finally made that dream come true. I received my certification as a Certified
Transpersonal Hypnotherapist on May 30, 2017, utilizing suggestive and regressive hypnotherapies. Here is the
really cool part, I am offering a service that combines massage therapy, energy healing, and hypnotherapy. This service is
called Hypno-Massage. Yes, the client receives a massage while at the same time receiving a suggestive hypnotherapy session.
absolutely love working on chronic pain issues. It is so rewarding to watch an actual healing taking place. Almost always,
when someone has pain anywhere in the body, there is a point that started it. For example, if you have pain in the knee it
could have actually started in the lower back, the glutes, or the hip. Finding where it started is the key to releasing the
pain and to begin healing. A session typically begins working with my hands so I can "feel" that point. Then I may
use deep tissue or trigger point. Then I may whip out the cups, guasha (scraping), or Bertha (the nickname of the electronic
massager). I might also use stretching, heat and/or cold treatment. I will also teach you things you can do at home to help
speed the healing and keep the condition from recurring. Each and every one of you is different. So, each and every one of
you receives individual treatment based on what I feel and what will be most beneficial for you. Some require very deep massage
with a fair amount of discomfort and others not so much. I can and do all ranges from super gentle to super agressive. It
depends on YOU. As much as I love what I do, your appointment is about YOU and what
